JOURNAL NOTES: Today we had very extreme hunting conditions, a hard wind, blowing snow and very cold temperatures. Fresh show stirred up the geese, many of which flew in the other direction of our location. We had several good opportunities with the geese that could see the spread and hear the calling. We ended the hunt by shooting an eight man limit! The geese couldn't resist our Greenhead Gear? goose spread. We saw lots of mallards still holding in the area. Duck and goose hunters down south should be preparing for a really good push of birds during the next week or two.
