Illinois:
Ultimate Waterfowlers
Ultimate Waterfowlers was established in 2000 by Rob Sprow and partner Bobby Beyers. Ultimate Waterfowlers operates in the Northeast Illinois Quota Zone, an area that is fast becoming the hottest spot in the country for Canada geese. Before 1980 the sight of Canada geese in this part of the country was rare. A hunter lucky enough to bag a honker usually got his picture on the front page of the local paper. Today this zone has become a major resting area for large numbers of migrating geese, attracted by the large resident flocks, making it a waterfowler's paradise.
Their land stretches over three counties in northeast Illinois. Ultimate Waterfowlers offers field hunting from pits for Canada geese and pothole shooting for Mallards and puddle ducks. Rob and Bobby, working together, are the heart of the Ultimate Waterfowlers team. But a staff of experienced professional guides including 5 State Champion Callers supports them.
Ultimate Waterfowlers' clubhouse is centrally located and adjacent to good restaurants. There is plenty of local lodging available to hunters. Daily rates and season packages are available. Ultimate Waterfowlers' combination of choice hunting locations, the finest decoys and seasoned professional guides produced great hunter success in 2001.

Mallard Manor
The owners, Terry Westmoreland and Jeff Farnham, became friends through their church and also as a result of the friendship that their sons had developed. They held common interest such as hunting and golfing. It was a natural gravitation. Their friendship continued to grow over the years and a mutual respect has fostered.
The concept for Mallard Manor began as an idea sparked by an intern Terry Westmoreland had working for him. It was nothing more than a laughable idea, an idea that has come to fruition as a result of God's grace. An idea that six weeks later had us making a site visit in Stuttgart Arkansas. As fast as the doors in Stuttgart opened they just as quickly were slammed shut. We tempered our efforts and decided to be patient, if this truly was an opportunity that God wanted to see us in then another door would open. Out of that patience another door did in fact open in Drew, MS. Three and one-half months later the land was purchased and construction was begun.
The concept of a commercial operation of this magnitude was very enticing. It was our belief that we could provide a stronger, better environment for waterfowling at less expense to the consumer. A lack of the ideal hunting environment, the skyrocketing cost of land, and the expense to prepare and maintain these sites makes waterfowling cost prohibitive to a large sector of society, not to mention the enormous time constraints.
Our belief at Mallard Manor is that we can provide the ultimate hunting experience coupled with first class accommodations, and provide a first rate, customer oriented service that far exceeds the cost factor, which is virtually unheard of in our industry. Furthermore, our belief is that we can bring the same success that Stuttgart experienced in the early days to the Delta of Mississippi. Historically duck concentrations have been stronger, even in the lean years and it is 2.5 hours closer than Stuttgart for those east of the Mississippi River.
